Banquet Server & Bartender Positions:
Come and be a part of our Banquet team at Reserve 22 at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn! Reserve 22 is a full-service restaurant and scratch kitchen at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn, a 27-hole, major USGA and PGA Tour Qualifying host golf course. We have a generous sized patio, outside bar, inside bar, dining room, and banquet facility. Currently we are hiring Banquet Servers and Bartenders. We're looking for attention to detail, punctual, and quick thinking team members to help make our guests' special day go smoothly. Servers are responsible for setup to tear down, making the guests happy, serving food and beverages to guests, and clearing dishes after each course . Bartenders prepare and serve drinks to guests which involves setting up and breaking down the bar, maintaining a clean and stocked station, and ensuring legal and safe alcohol service. They must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handle payments, provide excellent customer service, and comply with all relevant laws and company policies.

DESCRIPTION: Performing food and drink serving duties at events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly and efficient manner. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Complete closing duties so the room is ready to go for the next event.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffet
- Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests
- Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or two years relevant experience.
- Servers must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Bartenders must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with customers, employees, and the general public.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- A banquet server MUST provide part of their own uniform which consists of a black tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes. Reserve 22 will provide a black button- down dress shirt and black polo shirt.
COMPENSATION:
Banquet Server & Bartender: Hourly plus portion of Service Charge and Tips; Average Compensation is $29 per hour ($9.00 per hour plus portion of service charge) plus tips. Additional compensation includes tips, which vary depending on host/event.
