Job Summary And Qualifications
The Food and Nutrition Services Stocker department disperses food and supplies received from vendors to the appropriate storage location in a timely and accurate manner. The responsibilities of the Storeroom Associate also include providing a safe and orderly food service storeroom area for our facility. The hospital dining schedule features hours and shifts that create a great work - life balance. Your food service experience and commitment to service, safety and professionalism will contribute to a positive experience for our patients, visitors and colleagues.
What you will do in this role:
You will ensure proper storage of food and non-food received.
You will maintain the storage area in a clean and orderly manner according to regulatory guidelines and document corrective action if needed.
You will ensure appropriate inventory levels.
You will stock the cafeteria and service areas with required service ware and food items to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation.
You will assist with monthly inventory, daily orders and maintaining all kitchen utensils, equipment and physical surfaces in a safe and sanitary manner.
You will assist with trayline, delivery of food and late tray carts to the nursing areas daily.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
