Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the direction and supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Director and in collaboration with the Lab Director, the pulmonary lab quality coordinator ensures the pulmonary lab services and blood gas systems comply with regulatory requirements. The Pulmonary Lab quality coordinator develops and implements quality standards, ensure compliance leading to successful inspections with attention to all state/federal regulations. The coordinator is responsible for performance improvement functions of evaluation, monitoring, analyzing, training, inventory control, charge integrity and risk management processes for blood gas systems, pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Research Psychiatric Center is a 95 bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare. We treat adolescents, adults, and senior adults for emotional disorders, mental illness, and substance abuse. Our professional staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and licensed professional counselors. Job Summary And Qualifications

The coordinator is responsible for performance improvement functions of evaluation, monitoring, analyzing, training, inventory control, charge integrity and risk management processes for blood gas systems, pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program: Certification, Associate degree, or Baccalaureate program preferred. Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred.
- Two years or more experience in pulmonary lab.
- Current and Valid Missouri Respiratory License
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)- RRT.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support with 30 days of hire
