Grant and Contracts Administrator
Salary Grade 18: $63,047 - $72,003
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Grant and Contracts Administrator in the Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Division of Grants Management and Special Projects to assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and Project Director (PD) in the fiscal oversight of a State Opioid Response 2024 (SOR IV) initiative.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute contracts for behavioral health program service delivery.
- Create and maintain relationships with fiscal agents representing sub-recipients and contractors.
- Maintain correspondence and documentation related to contracts, including monthly spenddown sheets.
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders regarding contracts and payment process.
- Review and verify monthly vouchers submitted by sub-recipients and contractors for payment.
- Work in collaboration with the fiscal agent (Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc.).
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal of contracts.
- Problem-solve with PD, PI and others on contract-related issues.
- Participate in ongoing meetings with project staff and provide accurate status of contracts/vouchers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years of full-time experience in managing contracts and related budgets.
- The managing of contracts must have included experience in one or more of the following areas: negotiation with contractors and vendors; fiscal management, including bidding, payment, analysis, and fiscal reporting; contract development, including developing requests for proposals; contract execution including securing signatory approval from control agencies; or monitoring and reviewing contract terms.
- Associate's degree AND 4 years of the required experience described in #1.
- Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of the required experience described in #1.
