Looking for an excellent opportunity to work during school hours and align your schedule with your child's? Join our team as a Yard Supervisor at Jackson Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year! As a vital member of our school community, you'll help maintain a safe and secure learning environment for our students. Under the Site Administrator's supervision, you'll monitor student safety and behavior throughout various school environments and handle minor first aid. You'll also report any damages to play areas and structures, direct students and traffic at assigned intersections, and help keep the school grounds clean. As a Yard Supervisor, you'll collaborate with administration and teachers to resolve student issues and ensure the safety and well-being of our students. This position is a split shift and the schedule is as follows: 4.25 hours per day, 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM working, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM break, 10:30 AM - 2:15 PM working, 2:15 PM - 3:05 PM break, 3:05 PM - 3:40 PM working, Monday - Friday, 193 days/ year. This position is for the 2026/2027 school year and will start on August 12th, 2026. This includes all school and holiday breaks off and earned holiday pay, vacation, and sick leave accrual. Requirements / Qualifications
Employment is contingent on DOJ and FBI clearance, TB assessment clearance, and successful completion of mandatory reporter training required before starting. The interviews for this position may run concurrently with the job posting. The position may be filled as soon as a qualified candidate is identified. A valid CPR certificate earned in person is a requirement for this role. However, a grace period will be allowed for obtaining your certificate, and there will be opportunities to attend district-administered CPR classes.
