Purchasing Coordinator
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to manage procurement operations and ensure the timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role is essential to maintaining smooth operations and supporting our mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, track, and manage purchase orders
- Build and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate contracts
- Monitor inventory and forecast supply needs
- Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance
- Collaborate across departments to align procurement with business goals
- Resolve order issues and delivery delays
- Generate reports and communicate purchasing updates
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of inventory and contract management
- Negotiation skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
