Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator to join our team at the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia. In this role, you will play an essential part in facilitating faith-based classes for men in our Life Recovery Program, while also helping develop and implement programs that support our mission of providing hope and empowerment to those in need. This position is vital to enhancing the lives of individuals in our community.

Job Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Delivery:

• Develop and implement engaging faith-based classes and activities aligned with program goals, focusing on self-management, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
• Ensuring residents receive biblically sound teachings necessary for their interdependence.
• Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and other interactive activities to promote learning and engagement.
• Adapt programs and activities to meet the unique needs of residents.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and program outcomes.
• Create and deliver trauma-informed programming.

Building Relationships and Fostering Community

• Build strong rapport and trust with residents by leading in vulnerability using Grace-focused recovery.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where men feel comfortable sharing their experiences and learning.
• Actively listen to participants' needs and concerns. Report these to the Men’s Program Director.
• Encourage participation and build a sense of community among participants.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with other staff, volunteers, and community partners.
• Maintain effective communication with residents and the program team.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Evaluation and Reporting:

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on program activities and outcomes.
• Contribute to program development and improvement.

Administrative and Operational Tasks

• Assisting team with completing all necessary intake forms and documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness when needed.
• Accurately entering and maintaining detailed client information, medical records, and reports in data management or electronic systems while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
• Performing general clerical duties such as answering multi-line phones, managing mail, typing, filing, copying, and faxing.
• Ensuring all intake procedures and documentation meet regulatory and funding requirements.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
