Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.Will train and pay to get applicators license.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement pest control treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during pest control operations.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and educating them about pest prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and any follow-up actions required.
- Drive to various job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects or when additional support is needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with farm equipment, landscape maintenance, lawn care practices, and sales techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are essential for this role.
