Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Print and Mail Associate to support the communication programs that we create for our clients. You will be a member of an energetic motivated team where you will assist in the day-to-day direct mail programs of our clients. We are looking for team members who work well in a deadline-driven, project-oriented environment. Your success will come from working with the Production Manager and keeping the mail projects organized and running smoothly, as well as meeting deadlines. Knowledge of direct mail, print, and/or USPS/Postal processing logistics is required.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process outgoing mail, including sorting, folding, inserting, sealing, and stamping
Operate mailing equipment (inserters, postage meters, tabbers, printers, etc.)
Ensure mailings meet USPS regulations and postage requirements
Maintain accuracy and quality control throughout all mail production jobs
Help manage inventory of envelopes, paper stock, and supplies
Meet daily and weekly production deadlines
- Help ensure high productivity and minimal downtime
- Strive to reduce expenses
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to management
- Help oversee maintenance of facility and equipment, understanding the capabilities, capacities, and limitations of the mail equipment.
- Ensure compliance with mailing regulations and internal processes
- Order and monitor all consumables and inventory necessary for optimal productivity of mail department.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow
- Ensure quality control
You will be expected to perform the following duties as needed

- Cutting/Folding/Scoring
- Ink Jet Addressing
- Inserting
- Tabbing
- Sealing/Stamping
Skills and Qualifications
· 3 plus years of experience in a commercial mail environment
· Knowledge of USPS regulations & classes of mail (First-Class, Marketing Mail, EDDM, non-profit rates, etc.)
· Understanding of postal discounts, presort requirements, NCOA, CASS, and barcoding
· Experience with mail.dat, mail.xml, or postal documentation systems
· Familiarity with inkjet addressing, tabbing, inserting, and metering equipment
· Experience with mailing software (BCC)
· Ability to review postal reports and documentation for accuracy
· Knowledge of permit management and USPS compliance

- Strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills
- Time management and meeting deadlines
- Team collaboration and communication
- Previous successful experience in a mail shop
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Have a good Driving Record
**Preferred, but not required
· Mail piece Design Professional (MDP) certification
· USPS Business Customer Gateway experience
· Experience with intelligent mail barcode (IMB) tracing
Pay: $19.23 - $21.00 per hour
