We are seeking a reliable and experienced Water Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating water trucks to support oil and gas production. This role requires a professional driver with a strong safety record and familiarity with various types of trucks and driving routes. Duties
- Operate water trucks efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of water supplies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload water as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols related to truck operation, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Assist with route planning to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with manual transmission experience preferred.
- Prior experience operating various types of trucks including tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, roll-off truck, or tractor-trailer is highly desirable.
- Experience with freight load & unload operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with route driving logistics and the ability to adapt to changing schedules is essential.
- Previous forklift operation experience can be advantageous for loading/unloading tasks.
- Candidates should demonstrate a clean driving record and knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and transportation. Pay: From $26.00 per hour
