Job Description
We are looking for an experienced facilities maintenance professional as we enter an exciting new chapter in our journey. With 2025 poised to be a year of significant growth and transformation, we are in need of an energetic and multi-talented maintenance specialist to care for the interior and exterior of our new headquarters.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly environment inside and outside the facility. This is a great opportunity to join a family-owned organization with a promising future!
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
Seasonal Maintenance:
- Performs general lawn, tree, shrub and grounds maintenance work for all buildings and facilities.
- Grass, trimming, weeding, etc. are maintained with the top priority to ensure owner’s standards are met.
- Handles snow removal during winter months both on driveway and on sidewalks.
- Applies salt to driveway and sidewalks to ensure safe environment for employees.
Outdoor Building Maintenance:
- Maintains a clean outdoor facility environment.
- Conduct general and basic repair of building as requested and as needed.
- Performs a wide variety of plant, office and yard maintenance work.
- Maintains and cleans outdoor garbage and recycling units to ensure compliance with code enforcement.
- Picks up trash around the perimeter of building, parking lots and inside property lines.
- Operates power cleaning equipment for power washing buildings and other outdoor power washing needs.
- Checks all lighting for blown bulbs/ballasts, and replaces as necessary.
- Follows exterior checklists daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly. Review with Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Indoor Building Maintenance:
- Cleans overhead equipment pipes, light fixtures, air ducts, etc., requiring the use of ladders.
- Check all lighting for blown bulbs/ballasts, and replace as necessary.
- Work with building Engineering to maintain a comfortable climate within office space.
- Regularly check for leaks in sinks, drains and toilets, maintaining basic plumbing for the facility.
- Conduct general and basic repair of building as requested and as needed.
- Follow company checklists daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly. Review with Supervisor.
- Assists with housekeeping duties as needed (garbage, glass, mopping etc.) Review with Supervisor.
- Assist building Engineer to complete electrical work orders.
- Other duties as may be assigned in cleaning and maintaining the facilities.
- Collects all trash totes and bring them outside for pick up based on schedule.
Experience and Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- 35 years of related experience and/or training.
Additional Information
The U.S. base hourly range for this full-time position is $20 - $25 per hour, and individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Pay ranges included in postings generally reflect base income; certain positions may include bonus, commission, or additional benefits.
