About the Role:
We are seeking a Temporary Machine Operator/Floorperson to support our team during a special project. This is a short-term assignment scheduled to end in January 2026.
Essential Responsibilities:
As a Machine Operator/floorperson, you will play a key role in our production process by ensuring efficiency and precision throughout the manufacturing line. Your primary duties include:
- Setting up and tearing down line equipment based on daily production needs
- Operating and setting up a variety of machines
- Maintaining product weights in accordance with written specifications
- Keeping the production line stocked with necessary raw materials (e.g., noodles, peppers, sauce, pans, etc.)
- Accurately completing production paperwork, including skid tickets
- Counting and tracking ingredients and supplies brought to the line
- Following all safety and housekeeping procedures
- Performing additional tasks as assigned
Key Qualifications:
- One to three months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Physical Demands:
This role requires a high level of physical activity, including:
- Extensive walking and standing
- Repetitive motion (hands/wrists)
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Bending, twisting, and stooping
Work Environment:
- Cold and dry conditions
- Wet conditions (may vary)
