Wi-Fi Interoperability Test Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Interoperability Test Engineer with strong expertise in Wi-Fi device interoperability, RF lab testing, and connectivity validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Octoscope, a proven track record of leading onsite testing activities, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional onsite and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience in Wi-Fi device interoperability testing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an onsite technical lead role, directly managing client-facing test strategy and day-to-day test execution.
- Design and drive comprehensive Wi-Fi test coverage across connectivity, device onboarding, PHY rates, band steering, roaming, and end-to-end customer use cases.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Octoscope and RF lab testing, including lab infrastructure management and coordination of device availability.
- Lead cross-functional test execution by coordinating onsite and offshore engineering teams, ensuring alignment on test scope, entry/exit criteria, and defect prioritization.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, program managers, and offshore teams in India to drive testing activities and program deliverables.
- Monitor test progress, identify risks, analyze defects, and present quality metrics and status updates to client program managers.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and onsite delivery leadership skills.
- Be flexible to work with offshore teams in India, including overlapping working hours with the Indian time zone.
