Job Title: Salesforce Marketing - Email Developer

Duration: 8 Months (Possible extension)

Location: Denver, CO 80202

100% Remote Role

Responsibilities:

• Salesforce experience required!
• Ensure continuity, speed, and quality across high‑volume, high‑stakes patient and member email communications that directly support growth, retention, and patient experience.
• Hands‑on in building, QA‑ing, and deploying production‑ready emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, partnering closely with campaign strategy, project management, and deployment leads.
• Requires deep technical expertise, comfort operating with urgency, and the ability to translate complex designs and data logic into reliable, scalable email builds.
• This is not a conceptual or marketing‑copy role — it is a builder role for someone who thrives in execution, precision, and accountability.

Email Build & Development

• Hand‑code responsive HTML/CSS email templates for promotional, transactional, triggered, and lifecycle campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Build and maintain modular, templatized email components that support speed, reuse, and scalability.
• Translate complex Figma/Sketch designs into pixel‑accurate, production‑ready email code.
• Leverage AMPscript to power dynamic content, personalization, and conditional logic.

Quality & Reliability

• Own end‑to‑end QA of email builds, including rendering, responsiveness, and functionality across major clients and devices (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, mobile, etc.).
• Test all builds in Litmus and resolve rendering inconsistencies quickly and independently.
• Ensure emails meet accessibility, performance, and deliverability best practices.
• Deliver clean, well‑documented email builds ready for deployment within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Support rapid iteration, fixes, and last‑minute changes without sacrificing quality.

Education/Experience:

• 5 years of hands‑on Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development experience
• Advanced HTML/CSS skills specific to email (including Outlook limitations)
• Strong working knowledge of AMPscript for personalization and dynamic content
• Proven experience coding complex responsive email designs, including:
• Background images
• Mobile stacking and fluid layouts
• Responsive breakpoints
• Conditional content
• Experience working within (and improving) an existing design system and code library
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple builds at once in a fast‑moving environment
