Emergency Room RN

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Utica, NY 13502

Duration: 13 Weeks contract (possible extension)

Available Shift: 10:30 am -11 pm, 2:30 PM - 3:00 AM and 6:30 PM - 7.00 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform rapid assessment and triage of patients presenting with emergent and high-acuity conditions.
• Manage clinical care for patients experiencing stroke, trauma, MI, sepsis, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and other emergency diagnoses.
• Provide care across the lifespan, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions per provider orders and ED protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year’s recent ED RN experience, including some pediatric exposure.
• Active RN license for the state of New York.
