Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Locations: Mauston, WI, 53948
Duration: Permanent
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with insurance providers regarding patient benefits and coverage.
• Prepare treatment materials and treatment areas for patient sessions.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and recommendations.
• Provide training and educational support to healthcare staff, including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service personnel.
• Develop and deliver in-service presentations and educational programs based on current clinical research.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and equipment.
• Conduct appointment reminder calls and assist with patient scheduling needs.
• Support patients and families in navigating hospital services and resources.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must possess and maintain a current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
• Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred.
