Job Description:

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner utilizing approved equipment.
You are also responsible for proper inventory being maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards being upheld.
Safely operate a pallet jack to move pallets throughout designated work area and perform related tasks to assigned area
Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on palletizing equipment
Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
Perform safety inspections and audits as required
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking of inventory within the facility
Follow standard work policies and procedures
Work as a team with forklift drivers to ensure production flow and improve operations

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to regularly lift, move, and place up to 25 pounds of inventory as needed. 
Safety sensitive role, will be required to use a pallet jack on occasion. They will be surrounded by equipment and be in close proximity to robot forklifts, so situational awareness is key based on a heightened danger in their work environment.
Experience working in a warehouse environment a plus
