Overview of Responsibilities:
The Regional Election Integrity Director will play a critical role in facilitating an effective election integrity operation in Wisconsin to “Protect the Vote” and restore voter confidence in the electoral process by ensuring elections are secure, transparent, and fair.
The primary responsibilities of this position includes the recruitment, training, and management of volunteers, forming and managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the development of regional and statewide operations.
Essential Duties:
- Recruit volunteers to establish county and municipal election teams.
- Recruit and maintain poll workers for training and scheduling during elections.
- Maintain regular communication with volunteers regarding activities, events, and campaigns relevant to election integrity.
- Organize and recruit volunteers for training opportunities.
- Manage volunteer records and data.
- Collaborate with local and regional party officials to promote election integrity.
- Conduct outreach and engagement with grassroots organizations, voters, and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support election integrity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in political campaigns, government relations, advocacy, or a similar role. Project management and customer service-related experience may be considered. Preference given for election integrity related experience.
- Deep understanding of political systems, government structures, and electoral processes.
- Experience working with local, state, or national political organizations, campaigns, elected officials, and policy makers.
- Work is conducted in an office environment; job requires ability to work with office equipment, files, lift boxes and materials of up to 25 pounds.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or greater, preferred but not required. Preference given for concentrations in Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, or related fields. Experience considered with education.
Preferred Capabilities:
- Ability to timely and accurately input and manage data through Microsoft Excel and Client Relationship Management software.
- Detail-oriented, extremely organized.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of work.
- Highly collaborative and perceptive.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to report to various supervisors.
- Knowledge of the election process.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work independently and take direction; organizational skills to manage multiple projects, ability to work on tight and changing deadlines, and manage workload amongst various priorities and work projects.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
