Position Overview

Republican Jobs is recruiting on behalf of a client, a conservative media-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead creative design initiatives across digital marketing, social media, fundraising, and editorial platforms.

The ideal candidate is a highly creative, detail-oriented designer who can translate complex ideas into compelling visuals while maintaining consistent branding across multiple channels. This individual will work closely with marketing and editorial teams, manage multiple creative projects, and help elevate the organization's visual identity and digital presence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead graphic design projects across digital marketing, social media, fundraising, and editorial initiatives.
• Develop engaging visual content for digital advertisements, websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
• Create and maintain cohesive branding across digital, print, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and editorial teams to develop creative concepts and execute visual strategies.
• Design graphics supporting fundraising appeals, organizational initiatives, publications, and promotional campaigns.
• Manage creative projects from concept through production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Provide creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers.
• Stay current with design trends, digital media formats, and emerging creative technologies, including AI-assisted design tools.
• Ensure all creative deliverables align with the organization's brand standards and communication objectives.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional graphic design experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience using Figma, Canva, and AI-assisted design tools.
• Strong professional portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital campaigns, branding, social media graphics, and marketing materials.
• Proven ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience providing creative direction, feedback, or mentorship to junior designers.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, and digital design best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Previous design experience in media, publishing, political organizations, advocacy, or the nonprofit sector strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
