Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Settlement Processor to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in managing real estate transactions from contract to closing. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service to clients, agents, lenders, and attorneys.
Experience in the title or real estate industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and manage real estate transaction files from contract through closing
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction
- Order payoffs, HOA information, surveys, and other required documents
- Prepare files for closing and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
- Coordinate scheduling for settlements and follow up on outstanding items
- Review contracts and assist with resolving title or closing-related issues
- Maintain accurate records and provide updates throughout the transaction process
- Deliver a professional and positive experience for clients and business partners
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn industry software systems
- Prior title, settlement, mortgage, real estate, or legal experience is a plus
