Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Safety Coordinator RIES is responsible for safety-related data integrity and generating, analyzing and disseminating safety-related reports to field management.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates and analyzes weekly claim reports to support field operations.
- Generates ad hoc reports for field and corporate staff as necessary.
- Manages Safety and Environmental Compliance tracking systems (STRS/CTRS).
- Provides field training on division level use of compliance tracking systems.
- Regularly communicates with field management and resolves discrepancies or other concerns.
- Manages customer safety databases and updates with Company specific information.
- Maintains OSHA 300 and 300A log.
- Updates and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
- Assists with the coordination and tracking of employee training.
- Assists in tracking and analyzing DOT compliance.
- Provides monthly reports to the Safety/Operations group to upload in presentation decks.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of safety plans and programs.
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and other applicable health and safety standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of experience in a role with HSE responsibilities.
