Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Conduct tree trimming, gardening, and pest management activities following safety protocols and industry standards
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting new greenery, laying sod, or installing mulch
- Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices
- Ability to identify plants and understand horticultural principles
- Knowledge of pesticide management and safe handling of chemicals
