General Laborer / Shop Hand - Manufacturing & Production Helper

Overview

Republic DFW is seeking dependable General Laborers and Shop Hands to support manufacturing, fabrication, production, and material handling operations. This role is a good fit for motivated candidates who want entry-level manufacturing experience and a path toward skilled trades such as welding, fabrication, machine operation, painting, or industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production, fabrication, assembly, material handling, and shop support duties.
• Load, unload, move, stage, and organize materials, parts, and finished products.
• Support welders, machine operators, painters, maintenance teams, and fabrication crews.
• Use basic hand tools and power tools safely when assigned.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, cleaning, inspections, and general shop operations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  
  

Requirements

• Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, production, or industrial experience preferred but not always required.
• Ability to lift, stand, move materials, and work in a physically active shop environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Reliable attendance, transportation, and communication.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with tools is a plus.
• Good attitude, teamwork, and attention to safety.
