Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilities Manager located in Charleston, SC. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the physical environment of all Republic Hospitality venues. This includes performing some maintenance work themesleves, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and overseeing renovation projects. The Facilities Manager will also develop and manage budgets for facility operations, monitor and maintain building systems, and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
Qualifications
- Facility Management: Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, and custodial operations
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Project Management: Experience in overseeing renovation projects, coordinating repairs, and project planning
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance
- Budgeting: Ability to develop and manage budgets for facility operations
- Vendor Management: Experience negotiating contracts and managing relationships with vendors and service providers
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership: Ability to lead and manage maintenance staff effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
