Firearms Sales Associate

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, guiding customers through their firearms purchasing decisions, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of firearms and a commitment to safety and responsible ownership.

Fixed Shifts: This position is for weekend shifts ONLY to include Saturday 10:30am - 8:30pm and Sunday 12:30pm-6:30pm every week. Sales Associates are allowed to pickup other shifts on other days dependent on staffing.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right firearms, ammunition, and accessories based on their needs and preferences.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations regarding firearms specifications, performance, and suitability for various applications (e.g., hunting, self-defense, target shooting).
• Process firearm sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including completing required paperwork and background checks in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Educate customers on firearms safety practices and responsible ownership principles.
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, and integrity at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the firearms industry.
• Deep knowledge of firearms, including types, brands, calibers, and accessories.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local firearms laws and regulations.
• Ability to handle and demonstrate firearms safely.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires standing for extended periods, as well as lifting and carrying firearms and related equipment.
• Set schedule Saturday and Sunday shifts.
