Job Title: Packing Team Member

Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient handling and packaging of products to be shipped to suppliers and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Proper handling, packaging and preservation of product
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- Identify and report safety concerns to the Packing Team Leader
- Identify and report maintenance needs to the Packing Team Leader
- Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly
- Interpretation of work orders and packaging instructions
- Complete and submit daily production reports
- Maintain a good attendance record
Qualifications: This is an entry level position and does not require any specific qualifications other than presenting a strong work ethic and good attendance.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma preferred
Language/Communication Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills needed for printing labels.
