The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing and managing daily maintenance activities and ensuring optimal functionality of equipment and facilities at the Mendota, IL location. Key duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, equipment repair, and overseeing industrial maintenance tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position, ensuring the smooth operation of Republic Elite’s facilities through hands-on technical expertise and proactive repair strategies.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting to identify and address operational issues efficiently
- Experience and skills in Preventive Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and maintain safety standards
- Strong background in Maintenance & Repair and Industrial Maintenance for optimal facility operation
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, full-time role, prioritizing and completing tasks independently
- Familiarity with tools, technical schematics, and safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certifications in relevant fields are a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
