Summary Description:
The Rotational Management Analyst role is part of Republic Bank of Chicago’s 12-month functional rotational program, designed to jumpstart your career in banking and leadership. This full-time opportunity offers immersive experience across key departments, giving you hands-on exposure to diverse functions, meaningful projects, and a variety of leadership styles. As you rotate through the organization, you’ll build technical know-how, sharpen your communication and collaboration skills, and gain a big-picture view of how our teams work together. You’ll connect with mentors, contribute to real initiatives, and grow in a fast-paced, people-first environment. By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to take on new challenges and step confidently into future opportunities at Republic Bank of Chicago.
Overview of Bank Functional Rotation Program
Phase 1: Primary Bank Functional Rotations (6 months)
Employees will work within primary departments of the Bank for the first 6 months of the program, broadening their knowledge and gaining insight into the various functional areas of a Community Bank.
General departments you may rotate through:
- Commercial Credit
- Retail Banking
- Commercial Lending
- Finance / Accounting
- Treasury Management
- Bank Operations
- Human Resources
- IT
- Marketing
- Money Services Business (MSB)
- Anti-Money Laundering
- Payments and Fintech Partnerships
- Risk
Phase 2: Specialized Development Track (6 months)
Participants step into a specialized banking track that aligns with their interests and strengths. They will build deeper expertise in their chosen core area of banking while developing the leadership skills needed to grow into future management roles. Each track includes a hands-on learning experience across the departments that support that function. This gives participants a full circle understanding of how their chosen area operates and connects with all facets of the Bank.
Specialist Rotational Track will prepare participants for roles like:
- Credit Analyst
- Market Manager
- AML Analyst
- Commercial Lender
- Portfolio Manager
- Financial Analyst
- IT Service Desk Analyst
- Treasury Management Analyst
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both qualitative and quantitative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manager multiple priorities
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, cross functional environment
- Professionalism, curiosity and a collaborative mindset geared toward leadership development
