GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Project Manager/Business Analyst leads cross-functional delivery of small- to mid-size technology and business solutions that advance the bank’s business, operational, and regulatory objectives. Projects may include purchased technology, solutions developed in-house, and strategic non-technical initiatives. As part of a small, collaborative team, this role combines structured project leadership with hands-on analytical and execution support. In addition to managing projects through the full lifecycle, the individual in this role performs business analysis and system testing activities. This position reports to the Business Analysis and Innovation Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership:
- Lead assigned projects through initiation, planning, execution, and closure in alignment with internal project management procedures.
- Partner with Project Sponsors and stakeholders to define objectives, scope, assumptions, risks, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain core project deliverables, including project charters, work breakdown structures, roles and responsibilities, communication plans, and status reports.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments, helping teams align priorities, resolve issues, and make timely decisions.
- Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating appropriately.
- Communicate project status clearly and consistently to sponsors, stakeholders, and the PMO.
- Support business acceptance and project closure activities.
Business Analysis:
- Work with business partners and subject matter experts to understand business needs, processes, and desired outcomes.
- Document business and functional requirements clearly and logically.
- Ask thoughtful questions to surface assumptions and clarify ambiguity.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical resources.
System Testing and Quality Support:
- Learn and apply internal testing standards and templates.
- Author system test plans by translating business requirements into testable scenarios.
- Execute system testing for internally developed solutions.
- Document testing results clearly and collaborate on issue resolution.
- Contribute to overall solution quality through attention to detail and analytical reasoning.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Formal project management, business analysis, or testing certifications are not required; demonstrated capability and transferable skills are valued more highly than credentials.
