Job Overview
Seeking a driven individual capable of excelling in an industrial production facility setting. Ability to work with minimal supervision required. The production worker role is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement. This is a very physically demanding position requiring, at times, hours of grinding, lifting, and on your feet operation. Candidates must be able to withstand the physical and mental demands that come with the repetitive nature of this position. Once trained, candidates must be able to meet established production & pace standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production flow
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assemble products accurately and efficiently
- Assist with the setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting of machinery as needed
- Handle materials and components within the warehouse or factory floor, including loading and unloading using forklifts if certified
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to meet safety standards
- Perform quality checks on finished products and report any discrepancies or defects
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during all tasks
Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred
- Operating shears, brakes, saws and other heavy industrial equipment.
- Operating grinders, belt sanders and other metal finishing equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend prints
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation (certification preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently
