Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Studio Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a positive experience for both staff and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for fostering a collaborative environment. This role involves managing various aspects of studio operations, including team management, exceptional customer service, inventory control, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations, tasks, and employees to maintain cleanliness, maintenance and functionality of all equipment, saunas, and cold plunges per Reps & Restore Standards of Practice. This includes but is not limited to reviewing all daily, weekly and monthly Front Desk employee duties to ensure they are being completed properly and promptly.
- Creating incident reports as necessary for any accidents, employee disputes, instructor subcontractor issues, customer dissatisfaction, equipment failures, safety concerns, safety violations, etc., and promptly providing them to ownership to review and act upon.
- Weekly Review of Reports that include but are not limited to new memberships, cancellations, introduction offers, class utilization., etc., to identify areas of improvement for the team. Facilitate discussions with ownership on how to implement and improve operations based on findings.
- Provide guidance, education, positive reinforcement, and coordination for the Reps and Restore Front desk Employees and Fitness instructors to help them understand and complete their duties and tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Manage the monthly class schedule and related correspondence to ensure that all instructors understand and are aware of the dates they are scheduled to instruct classes. If substitutions are necessary for any given date, coordinate the instructor substitutions. If no one is available to substitute, the manager is responsible for covering hours.
- Review all reports and reviews related to instructors and classes a minimum of once per month. Communicate directly with instructors in order to promote growth, improvement, and positive reinforcement.
- Create monthly audits of strength classes to provide assessments of the strength classes. Communicate findings with ownership and develop plans and strategies to facilitate improvement.
- Conduct monthly meetings with instructors and front desk staff. Conduct Biweekly front desk meetings. Collaborate with ownership to improve and/or create new Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work front desk hours as assigned and perform front desk duties during those hours along with Management duties and responsibilities.
- Manage membership sales efforts, procedures, methods, and outreach. Manage, coordinate and facilitate membership lead tracking and communications.

- Review employee timesheets, pull reports, and review before sending to owner for payroll.
- Oversee and execute day to day marketing tasks, coordinating signage and staff communication, collecting photo/video content when needed, and tracking campaign results to support brand growth and community engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within a retail or studio environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
- Proficiency in payroll systems, bookkeeping practices, and inventory control methods.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training employees is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math concepts is essential for operational success.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, sales management, and strategic planning.
- Sales experience is highly desirable.
