Practice Administrator
RMA Network, a top fertility clinic network in the US, is seeking a Practice Administrator. This full-time position requires Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm work hours.
Job Purpose:
The Practice Administrator oversees business management tasks at our medical office. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, contributing to business improvement plans, and overseeing facility finances. A successful Practice Administrator will leverage administrative expertise to deliver excellent healthcare services.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
- Assist with business planning and improve administrative processes.
- Develop budgets, monitor expenditure, and perform daily financial management tasks.
- Supervise and hire administrative staff for patient services, patient liaisons, and finance teams.
- Participate in leadership meetings and track key practice metrics for process improvement.
- Implement necessary SOPs to ensure compliance with company metrics and goals.
- Provide oversight of HIPAA, OHSA, QA, and Risk Management in connection with IVI Leadership.
- Work closely with the Lead Physician to motivate team members, set clear expectations, and achieve Practice goals.
- Assume duties as needed, including weekend coverage, to maintain the IVI RMA standard of excellence in patient care.
- Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions.
- Direct hiring activity, develop a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Develop an effective and adaptive staffing model and schedules.
- Train administrative staff and conduct performance reviews.
- Maintain awareness of trends in practice administration and healthcare regulations.
- Liaise with corporate support to promote optimal practice operations and employee relations.
Academic Training:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration required; master's degree preferred.
Position Requirements/Experience:
- At least five years' experience in practice administration and personnel management in a similar environment.
- Proficiency in electronic practice and health record management systems.
- Extensive experience in financial management.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
