We are committed to providing our patients with the best possible medical care. We are currently looking for an exceptional candidate to join our work family. We are looking to hire an LVN for our Clinic.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain and abide to all RFC policies and procedures, and objectives.
- Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check in patients, and obtain necessary patient information.
- Meet patients and act as an educator on the IVF process (procedures, infertility testing, insemination, in vitro (IVF) fertilization, FET, and egg vitrification, etc.), medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle factors that may affect treatment success.
- Taking vitals and drawing blood.
- Aid physicians during the examination and procedures.
- Accompany Physicians and the medical team during patient appointments to assist in language translation.
- Guides patient to ensure they receive the highest quality of care and maintain an excellent rapport/relationship with the Patient.
- Deliver the highest standard of patient service and a supremely courteous and professional experience.
- Coordinate and schedule surgery and ART appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, and ensure all consents are signed and patients adhere to the treatment timeline.
- Monitor established pregnancies via ultrasonography and lab tests, through the first 8-12 weeks of pregnancy (annotated in EMR).
- Serve as a liaison between patients and the medical team, relaying vital information, test results, and treatment instructions; answering any questions or concerns promptly.
- Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are taken into consideration, and help patients make informed decisions about their care.
- Verify all communicable disease testing is complete, accurate, and appropriate.
- Assist in other job responsibilities/duties requested by the Supervisor and/or Employer.
Skills and Requirements:
- An AA degree, nursing license (MA, LVN)
- Proficient in reading, typing, and conversing in English.
- Women's Health Care is appreciated.
- Infertility experience is a plus.
- Great communication skills and ability to articulate care plans
- Ability to work in a high-standard environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be a reliable person.
- Maintain proper attendance and punctuality.
- Strong, professional, personable, and caring attitude is required.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of daily work, recognizing that many confidential documents and conversations will need to be relayed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Accept responsibility and accountability for actions.
Schedule:
- Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday with Weekend and Holiday rotations
- Due to the nature of the position, the work must be completed in the clinic (not remotely)
- Monday to Friday, overtime may be required
