Role Description
This is a part-time (potential for full-time) on-site role for a Group Facilitator based in Ewing, NJ. The Group Facilitator will lead support groups, encourage active participation, and maintain a safe and respectful environment for all group members. The facilitator will use evidence-based techniques to guide discussions, promote emotional well-being, and foster personal growth. Additional responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining accurate group records, and working collaboratively with the Reprieve Recovery Center team to optimize client success.
Qualifications
- Strong group facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in counseling, crisis intervention, or related practice areas
- Knowledge of 12 step recovery models, mental health practices, and peer support techniques
- Organizational and time management skills to effectively coordinate group sessions
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive group setting
- Minimun of CADC required
- Experience in recovery or related fields is highly desirable
