What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Production Line Operator position at Replications Unlimited?

Our production line is a physically demanding position that will appeal to individuals looking for a workout and that aren’t averse to getting dirty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading and supervising a team of 2-5 production operators, pushing team to most efficient production cycles and ensuring daily production goals are met
- Assist in Daily Equipment start up and shutdown procedures of plural component spray systems and urethane pour foam units, ensuring that proper procedures are followed.
- Assist in various roles of assisting in pushing molds and parts through the production line rotation
- Checking product quality and identifying root causes of any product defects.
- Suggest any improvements to work flow and equipment maintenance
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
- Communicating with supervisors and other departments with updates on progress and updates.
Qualifications
- Physically capable of standing 8 hours and performing semi-vigorous manual labor
- Able to lift at least 60 pounds
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Experience in concepts of lean manufacturing
- Strong Mechanical ability to assist in equipment troubleshooting.
- Industrial maintenance background
- Experience in leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing
Shift Time 8:00 - 4:30pm / 7 - 3:30 pm (shift times may vary seasonally)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
