Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, floral design, and horticulture products.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise, providing detailed product information and recommendations tailored to their needs.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Stock shelves efficiently, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques.
- Maintain organized inventory records, assist with stocking and inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Support e-commerce initiatives by helping customers with online orders or inquiries when applicable.
- Communicate effectively in English and other languages (if applicable) to serve a diverse customer base with excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or strong interest in retail sales, customer service, or gardening-related fields such as horticulture or floral design is preferred.
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening tools and supplies is a plus.
- Basic proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, merchandising, and inventory management.
