Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient workflow. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for guiding a team of warehouse associates in receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong organizational skills, a focus on safety, and a commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates to achieve high performance and maintain quality standards.
- Daily Operations: Coordinate daily warehouse tasks, including receiving incoming products and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory organization and accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process inbound and outbound shipments, verify documentation, and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Promote a safe and clean work environment by enforcing company and OSHA safety protocols.
- Performance Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide updates on productivity, inventory, and order accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, or shipping errors.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience (lead/supervisory experience preferred).
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical warehouse duties.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
