What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at REP Services?
Overview
Manage profit opportunities in the assigned territory by generating new sales, developing relationships with customers and complimentary organizations, and serving existing accounts.
Duties
Keep the territory sales funnel full through referrals from satisfied customers and seek out future opportunities to achieve sales goals. Be a resource to customers.
Contact prospective customers, including: City and County Parks and Recreational Departments, Landscape Architects, Architects, Community Redevelopment Associations, Developers, Home Developers, Various City departments (Public Works, Capital Projects, Open Spaces, etc.)
Define customer needs, qualify for fit, and create compelling solutions using sound design principles and knowledge of related construction requirements. Work with Rep Services support team to develop and execute site-specific playground, shade, and shelter projects.
Maintain, manage, and follow up on current, active, and future projects in CRM/Quote system throughout the territory.
Be knowledgeable about manufacturer's products.
Forecast and report quarterly sales metrics to management.
Attend trade shows, association meetings, factory, and company training sessions for the purpose of lead generation and marketing. Examples are Florida Park and Recreation conference, Florida ASLA and annual factory visits.
Travel 30% of the time through your territory.
Skills
Experience in outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in territory and customer development and management.
Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
Effective and personable communication skills for inside sales interactions as well as face-to-face client meetings.
Ability to present proposals that clearly communicate value.
Pay: $70, $180,000.00 per year
