We Offer An Exceptional Compensation Package Which Includes
Compensation base range: $130,000 - $150,000 annually plus potential bonus

People leadership & team development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed team of Shopify full-stack developers.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented engineering culture.
- Partner with leadership to expand team capabilities by introducing testing and DevOps roles before scaling the developer headcount.
- Conduct 1:1s, feedback sessions, and career planning for each team member.
- Work with the Project Manager to refine and standardize the development lifecycle - backlog management, estimation, sprint cadence, and code reviews.
- Ensure consistent branching, code review, and release management practices using GitHub and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Integrate TestSigma into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression and functional testing.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for throughput, code quality, test coverage, and reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps to enhance automation, deployment pipelines, and operational efficiency.
- Guide the evolution of the Shopify platform: Online Store 2.0, Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, GraphQL APIs, and Theme App Extensions.
- Architect a repeatable, scalable “market template” to support efficient, consistent international site launches.
- Ensure robust integrations with CDN, PIM, ERP, and related systems.
- Promote maintainability, performance, and reliability of best practices across the stack.
- Translate business goals into actionable technical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Partner closely with eCommerce, IT, and marketing to align platform initiatives with business priorities.
- Oversee technical evaluations and vendor relationships related to Shopify and supporting apps.

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
- 5 years of experience managing software engineering teams, including remote or distributed groups.
- 10 years of professional development experience with strong Shopify expertise (Online Store 2.0, Liquid, Functions, GraphQL APIs, Checkout Extensibility).
- Proven success in improving engineering processes, mentoring teams, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with TestSigma or equivalent automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with GitHub and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Demonstrated ability to define, track, and improve engineering KPIs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
