SUMMARY
Reconciles bank accounts, provides monthly financial reports, processes purchase orders, maintains financial accounting and assumes other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reconciles all bank accounts of the building including petty cash accounts. Insures the building has current signature cards on file our banks. Prepares and deposits all revenue into bank accounts. Prepares monthly treasurer's report as required by the central office
Monitors delinquent student/parent accounts and prepares monthly reports. Signs building generated checks as required by statute.
Prepares and processes purchase requisitions and provides the district office with necessary reports and paperwork.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies, members of the business community or patrons of the district. Ability to effectively present information to staff, patrons of the district and/or board of education.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have the computer skills and knowledge necessary to use district software with very limited additional training.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

No certificates, licenses or registration is required.
