ReNuke services is seeking to fill a Project Manager role with our client site in Charlotte, NC !
Description:
Full time, hybrid, 3 days/week in office.
Personal vehicle with mileage reimbursed for same day travel in North and South Carolina
1. Relevant industry experience:
a. Electrical transmission (substation or line)
b. Nuclear Generation related experience
c. Engineering
d. Mechanical Backgrounds
e. Financial Acumen
f. Electrical Utility
2. Technical backgrounds:
a. Engineering Degree/Experience
b. Construction
c. Problem Solving
3. Project Management Experience:
a. Within a utility ideally
b. With a contractor that supports utilities
c. Experience with large complex projects and processes
d. Financial Acumen
Not all of the above are required, though the more related qualifications from above lists, the better the candidate will fit the role.
This position will be under the general direction of a Manager of Project Management, on the Project Development Team. The Project Manager position is responsible for the management, or the assistance of managing, all phases of project planning to ensure all project success factors are met, including but not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration. This position will be assigned to multiple transmission projects. In aggregate, these projects are typically less than $10M with a Low to Moderate level of complexity impacting only the facility or department level within the Company. The PM serves as the unifying agent providing leadership, management, direction, coordination, and control of the overall project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of The Company.
This position is typically retained to manage multiple 'White' or 'Green' projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience. Graduation from a two-year college or university. Working knowledge of project management principles. Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.
