Nuclear Licensing Engineer Subject Matter Expert

 ReNuke Services is seeking a Nuclear Licensing Engineer SME for our client’s site in Charlotte, NC!

Description:

Workers at this level solve more complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with limited supervision. Workers are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with even greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is increasingly complex and varied. This position is an individual contributor and recognized within the company as a subject matter expert in one or many key elements of nuclear regulatory matters impacting licensing and/or compliance.  This individual prepares high quality products in a timely manner with minimal supervision. This individual also provides support to the nuclear sites on matters related to Technical Specification compliance, licensing, operability, reportability and NRC inspections. This individual supports external interface activities that impact licensing and compliance processes and programs.  This individual provides mentoring for junior members of Regulatory Affairs.

Requirements:

15 years nuclear licensing experience and unique SME skills.

Relevant licensing experience in power uprate licensing documentation is preferred.

Per diem is allowed.
