We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director - Registered Nurse to lead and oversee the Ambulatory Surgery Center operations within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership for nursing staff, including nurse management and supervising experience, to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and review comprehensive care plans ensuring alignment with medical and physiological requirements.
- Oversee patient monitoring processes, ensuring accurate documentation review, medical records management, and adherence to HIPAA & AAAHC regulations for confidentiality.
- Supervise the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other relevant healthcare policies while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices.
- Oversee management responsibilities including staffing schedules, budgeting for nursing operations, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation review processes and ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance and performance improvements initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and satisfaction while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current licensure in good standing.
- Ambulatory Surgery Center experience regarding O.R. Circulator, PACU, SPD & Scrub Techs.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in a healthcare setting; ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing practices.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic documentation processes; experience reviewing medical records is highly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Experience managing nursing operations along with case management.
- Knowledge of Medicare policies and regulations impacting Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and ensure clear documentation review processes.
