Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscape Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing high-quality outdoor hardscaping projects, including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor drainage solutions, etc. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and hardscaping while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation of sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Help loading and laying pavers, stones, and other building/landscape materials according to project plans
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and install materials
- Support heavy equipment operation for excavation, grading, and material transportation as needed
- Follow safety protocols and directions from team leader to maintain a secure work environment on all outdoor projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality
Pay starts at $20/hour. Higher pay is offered based on skill and experience level.
Skills (Not required)
- Previous experience in Hardscapes, landscaping, or similar outdoor construction
- Experience in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers, and levels
- Familiar with power tools like saws and drills
- Experience with outdoor work environments and adherence to safety protocols
- Competence in operating equipment safely for excavation or material handling
