Requirements
- Assist Electrical Team Lead in the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems
- Install solar PV system components and complete assigned tasks from start to finish
- Assist other crew members as necessary
- Follow electrical line diagrams and equipment specifications to install high quality photovoltaic (PV) systems correctly and in an efficient manner
- Adhere to project designs, requirements and best practices to ensure quality and code compliance
- Maintain an organized work truck and maintain tools/equipment
- Maintain truck inventory and assist with stocking and procurement
- Upgrade existing electrical equipment and services on residential and commercial job sites
- Assist with PV installations and rooftop work as necessary
- One or more years of electrical experience preferred.
- One or more years of solar electrical experience preferred.
- Desire to succeed in the renewable energy industry while building a career with a regional solar leader
- Ability to work atypical weekly work schedules
- Valid state issued driver's license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces safely
- General knowledge of home construction, building materials, workplace safety, fall protection, and OSHA standards
- Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment
- Clean criminal background check
