This role requires greater independence and judgment in reviewing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with policies, contracts and regulations, technical expertise and the ability to handle more complex financial processes. Job duties and essential functions include:Accounts Payable:Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Prepare payment batches for approval and issue payments to vendors.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve complex discrepancies.Assist in vendor onboarding and maintenance, ensuring compliance with IRS and organizational requirements.Accounts Receivable:Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.Monitor accounts receivable aging and take appropriate collection actions consistent with the policy and contract.Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies independently.Assist in preparing and analyzing AR aging reports.P-Card Transactions:Manage the organizational purchasing card (P-Card) program, ensuring proper documentation and policy compliance.Audit and reconcile P-Card transactions for accuracy and appropriate use.Provide training and support to members on P-Card procedures.Analysis and Reporting:Generate routine and ad hoc financial reports related to AP/AR activities.Monitor and analyze AP/AR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Provide documentation and support during audits.Support Functions:Assist with budgeting tasks and provide support for other financial operations as needed.Assist in grant tracking and financial reporting as applicable.Provide backup support for other financial functions as needed.Participate in training to enhance departmental and technical experience.Perform other duties as assigned.
