Renton Counseling Center (RCC) is a clinician-owned private practice located in Renton, WA. Our mission is to provide effective and accessible psychotherapy services to the local community utilizing insurance benefits. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychotherapy services to a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families from our clinical office in Renton, virtually or in person.
- Adhere to best clinical practices and measure treatment outcomes.
- Participate in weekly staff consultations and integrated feedback sessions.
- Collaborate with fellow clinicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Compensation and Scheduling
Compensation is based on revenue generated from completed psychotherapy sessions and processed claims. Clinicians are expected to maintain the above 33 hours of weekly in person clinical availability, which typically results in approximately 25 completed sessions per week after cancellations and no-shows.
Pay Structure: combination of hourly and a percentage of individual revenue received via insurance and patient payments
Note: During the first month, compensation is limited to the base rate of $25/hour until insurance revenue is generated.
Hours & Location
This position includes a set in person clinical schedule totaling 33 direct client service hours per week, designed to meet client demand and support a full caseload:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Total: 33 scheduled clinical hours per week
Our Team
Our team includes fully licensed providers, led by our founder and clinical supervisor, Vera Dragonchuk, LMHC. We offer both in-person and remote services to meet the needs of our clients and clinicians. While we support flexible care delivery, most clients currently prefer in-person sessions.
Our Hiring Process
We aim to create a thoughtful and transparent hiring experience. The process includes:
- Virtual Interview – Meet with one of our experienced clinicians to discuss your background, clinical approach, and interest in the role.
- Consultation Observation & Office Tour – Attend an in-person staff case consultation meeting and tour our office to experience our collaborative environment.
- Final Interview – Meet with our Founder and Operations Manager to discuss alignment, expectations, and long-term goals.
