About the Job
We are looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled IT Technician who can handle front-desk customer service and back-end technical repairs. You must be someone who takes responsibility, works independently, and keeps the shop running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Check in devices and create service tickets
- Explain repair estimates and timelines
- Handle basic sales (accessories, upgrades, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and Macs
- OS installation, virus removal, upgrades
- Hardware repairs: screens, batteries, keyboards, etc.
- Troubleshoot software and network issues
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation
- Keep the store secure and follow proper procedures
Requirements
- Reliable, honest, and punctual
- Experience with computer repair (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Experience with repairing tablets, Microsoft surface and gaming consoles.
- Ability to diagnose hardware and software problems
- remote technical support and sometime house calls.
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Must be able to multitask (front desk repairs)
- Retail or customer service experience
- Networking experience (routers, switches, setup)
- Soldering or board-level skills
Compensation
- Base hourly pay pay-per -device commission
- Bonus opportunities based on performance
