As an Apartment/Shared Housing Locator, you will assist clients in finding apartments or Shared Housing that match their needs, preferences, and budgets. You will act as a trusted advisor, maintaining strong relationships with property managers and leasing agents while providing a seamless and stress-free experience for your clients.
Duties
- Communicate effectively with clients to assess their housing needs and preferences.
- Research and identify available housing options within the community.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with property owners on behalf of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and real estate laws to ensure compliance.
- Provide administrative support by documenting client interactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop strong relationships with property management companies to facilitate housing placements.
- Offer exceptional customer service throughout the housing search process, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
- Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple client cases simultaneously while ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Assist multilingual clients by providing translation services when necessary, enhancing accessibility for diverse populations.
- Collaborate with community organizations to promote available housing resources.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in real estate or property management settings.
- Provide clients with curated lists of apartment options, complete with pricing, features, amenities, photos, and specials.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and real estate law is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing client cases effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact with clients and landlords professionally.
