Part-Time Administrative / Executive Assistant — Property Management
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Pay: $17.00/hour Location: Hendersonville, NC
About the Role
We are a growing property management company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative/Executive Assistant to support daily operations. This role is the right hand to the Property Manager — you'll be involved in everything from tenant communications and lease processing to vendor coordination and owner reporting. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same, this is a great opportunity to build your career in real estate and property management.
What You'll Be Doing
Tenant & Owner Communication — Answer incoming calls on multiple lines, respond to tenant inquiries, relay maintenance requests, and provide professional, timely communication to property owners.
Lease Administration — Assist with preparing lease agreements, renewals, addendums, and move-in/move-out documentation. Help track lease expirations, follow up on unsigned documents, and ensure tenant files are complete and organized.
Maintenance Coordination — Log work orders, schedule vendors, follow up on open maintenance items, and communicate status updates to tenants and owners.
Marketing & Leasing Support — Assist with posting rental listings, coordinating showing schedules and following up with prospective tenants.
Office & File Management — Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems, handle incoming/outgoing mail, scan and file documents, and support day-to-day clerical tasks.
Calendar & Scheduling — Manage the Property Manager's calendar, schedule property inspections, coordinate vendor access, and help keep the daily workflow on track.
What We're Looking For
- Previous administrative or office experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette and strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
- Comfort learning new software (experience with AppFolio is a plus)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion (tenant records, owner financials, legal documents)
- Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and work independently during busy periods
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Why This Role
You'll get hands-on exposure to every aspect of property management — leasing, maintenance, accounting, owner relations, and compliance. This is ideal for someone looking to break into real estate, build administrative experience, or find a consistent part-time schedule that respects your afternoons. We will mentor and train the right person.
We're a small, fast-moving team where your contributions are visible and valued from day one. If you're organized, proactive, and ready to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
